The dream behind Togetherly

What if help could always find its way?

Somewhere, someone needs exactly what another person is ready to give. Togetherly is the belief that distance between them can be closed.

Where it began

Two human problems. One profoundly human answer.

People don’t only need help. They need purpose, belonging, and one another.

Togetherly began with an idea to connect older people experiencing loneliness with young people struggling with their mental health. It wasn’t about one group rescuing another. It was about recognising that both had something valuable to give: time, perspective, companionship, and the feeling of mattering to someone.

That first idea revealed something much larger. Need and generosity exist everywhere, often within the same street, company, or community. What is missing is the way for them to recognise each other.

The idea grew

From one connection to a world of possibility.

Togetherly is being built as the place where goodwill becomes visible and useful - where non-profits can voice real needs, and people and organisations can discover where they might genuinely make a difference.

THE NEED

Make the invisible visible

Give trusted non-profits a clearer way to show what their communities need, from specialist knowledge to practical resources.

THE POSSIBILITY

Unlock what people can give

Help individuals and organisations recognise that their time, experience, networks, and resources may be exactly what is needed.

THE CONNECTION

Let something begin

Create the conditions for relevant, purposeful conversations - and allow each connection to become more than either side imagined.

The Founder

Andreea Groenendijk-Deveau

Andreea is a London-based social entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience across philanthropy and social impact. Her work is rooted in a belief that thoughtful ideas matter most when they create practical routes to action.

She is also the Founder of Outcry Witness, a platform that allows sexual assault survivors to keep an anonymous, encrypted record of what happened to them, and the Founder of The Right Words, the global campaign changing how abuse and violence are reported by the media, public authorities, and organisations.

Togetherly grows from the same refusal to accept that goodwill should remain stranded on one side of a gap while urgent need sits on the other. It is an ambitious project, built on a simple conviction: human connection is one of the most powerful resources we have.

The future we are building towards

A world where the instinct to help never ends with “but I don’t know how.”

We imagine millions of useful connections: a skill shared, a door opened, a resource offered, a community strengthened. Not help as a distant idea, but as something people can find, choose, and act on - together.

The dream starts here

Help us build the first connections.
