For individuals

Turn what you can offer into useful support.

Togetherly is being built to help people connect with verified non-profits looking for relevant time, knowledge, skills, and practical support.

Goodwill, made practical

You may already have something a non-profit genuinely needs.

Wanting to help is often the easy part. Knowing who needs what, whether your offer is useful, and how to make first contact can be much harder.

Togetherly is designed to make that route clearer. You’ll be able to discover organisations, understand what they are asking for, and start with a focused conversation rather than a vague promise.

01

Offer your time

Support a cause in a way that fits your availability, whether regularly or for a defined piece of work.

02

Share useful knowledge

Bring professional experience, practical insight, or specialist skills to a real organisational need.

03

Make a relevant connection

Approach organisations whose work matters to you and whose stated needs match what you can offer.

The individual pathway

From wanting to help to knowing where to begin.

The platform is still in development. This is the journey Togetherly intends to test and refine during beta.

Step 01

Create your profile

Introduce yourself, choose the causes that interest you, and describe the knowledge, time, or practical support you may be able to offer.

Step 02

Explore organisations

Discover verified non-profits, learn about their work, and see the types of support they have said would be useful.

Step 03

Request a conversation

Choose a relevant topic and explain briefly why you would like to connect. The organisation decides whether to accept.

Step 04

Talk with purpose

Use the private conversation to understand the need, ask questions, and decide together whether there is a useful next step.

Step 05

Agree what comes next

A conversation may lead to volunteering, advice, an introduction, practical help, or simply a clearer understanding of what is needed.

Step 06

Keep control

You can end a conversation or report a concern. Organisations can do the same, and neither side is required to continue.

Clear expectations

Connection begins with choice on both sides.

A request is not an obligation.

Non-profits choose which approaches to accept, and you choose which conversations you wish to continue.

Verification has limits.

Togetherly intends to check basic organisational information. Verification should not be treated as an endorsement or guarantee.

Keep early conversations on the platform.

Using Togetherly’s planned messaging and reporting tools will help both sides retain more control during first contact.

Be specific and realistic.

Clear offers are more useful than broad promises. Only offer time, expertise, or resources you genuinely expect to provide.

Questions from individuals

A few things you may want to know.

Not necessarily. Useful support can include time, practical help, lived or professional experience, introductions, and many other forms of contribution. Individual organisations will decide what is appropriate for their needs.
No. It simply allows Togetherly to contact you with relevant updates. You can decide later whether you want to create a profile or take part.
The planned pathway lets individuals request a conversation about a relevant topic. The organisation remains free to accept or decline each request.
Togetherly is being designed to help people and non-profits begin relevant conversations. It does not currently promise to arrange, supervise, or guarantee a volunteering placement.
A public launch date for the individual pathway has not yet been confirmed. Join the waiting list and Togetherly will share updates as the platform develops.
